A trailer in Lake Cowichan caught fire Wednesday night.

The fire started in one home at Meades Creek trailer park and spread to a neighbouring trailer, according to Sgt. Dave Voller.

As of Thursday morning, Voller said the fire was out but the RCMP and fire dept. were still at the scene.

He couldn’t provide any information on how the fire started but said they would be investigating.

Voller said there were no injuries.

The chief at the volunteer Lake Cowichan Fire Dept. wasn’t immediately available for comment.
