A woman charged with attempted murder was scheduled to enter a plea Tuesday at the Duncan courthouse.

Terri-Lyn Thomas from Duncan is accused of stabbing a 47-year-old man at the Cowichan River in Mar. 6.

The RCMP attended the scene and said they found the man suffering from wounds to his chest and abdomen. The victim was sent to Victoria General Hospital and is believed to have made a full recovery from the alleged attack. The police searched the river all day for weapons and evidence before recommending the charge of attempted murder to the Crown.

There's a publication ban on the evidence and information surrounding Thomas' bail hearing.
