Two injured in crash involving RCMP in Duncan
The actions of an RCMP member will be under investigation following an accident on the Trans-Canada Highway in Duncan Sunday night.
The RCMP member was travelling south and responding to a domestic call when he struck a car near Miller Rd. at around 7 p.m.
Cst. Brad Robinson told SunFm News that the 23-year-old woman in the oncoming vehicle was going north and trying to turn left onto Miller Rd. when her vehicle was struck.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries; the woman was taken to the hospital and was said to have lacerations to the head.
The crash nearly totalled both vehicles; southbound traffic was down to one lane for several hours.
