A woman charged with attempted murder is set to enter a plea later this month at the Duncan courthouse.

Terri-Lynn Thomas is accused of stabbing a man near the Cowichan River Mar. 6.

Police spent the day searching the river for a weapon and evidence but a publication ban prevents us from revealing the details.

The man was sent to the hospital with wounds to the chest and abdomen and was said to be making a full recovery.

The RCMP said the victim was still in the hospital as recently as the beginning of May.

Thomas, 43, is scheduled to enter a plea on May 29 at the Duncan courthouse.
