Police are investigating after a vehicle was found in the waters of Mill Bay Tuesday.

According to Shawnigan Lake RCMP, a marine worker noticed the vehicle under the water, and called the police.

The RCMP brought in their dive team and with a towing company, retrieved the vehicle from the water.

According to Sgt. Robb Webb, judging from the condition of the vehicle, they believe it's been in the bay for weeks.

Webb says it is a Mitsubishi Endeavor stolen from a Duncan Home on Auchinachie Road in February.

Police say they have no suspects at this time.
