Pots and pans may be the few items that survived a blaze at Dino's Grill on Sunday night.

Restaurant owner Dean Soler was visiting the site on Government St. three days after the fire to see what can be salvaged.

“I don’t think it’s going to be much, if it is anything, it may be stuff like stainless stuff that survived, or the stronger stuff, so we don’t know yet what it could be.”

Soler said he and his partner will use their insurance policy and work together with the landlords to rebuild the structure and the business.

The building’s owner, Cowichan Estates Ltd., is not commenting on the amount of damage, nor plans to rebuild.

The Duncan RCMP and fire marshal continue to investigate the cause and point of origin of the blaze.
