NewsMurder case delayed in Duncan
The man accused of killing two women in Duncan was supposed to appear in court Tuesday but William Elliott’s next court date is now set for July 17. It's the second delay in the case after a May 23 court appearance was rescheduled for June 26. A spokesperson for the Crown said Elliott's lawyer asked for more time to review evidence in the case and added that it's not usual to have several court adjournments in this type of case. The July court appearance is for a bail hearing. It's not clear when Elliot, 24, will be asked to enter pleas to two counts of first degree murder. He was charged in April for the deaths of Tyeshia Jones and Karrie-Ann Stone. Similar StoriesMost Viewed Stories
