A man from Langley faces charges in relation to a trailer fire at Sunfest last weekend.
Duncan/North Cowichan RCMP said they are recommending charges of uttering threats and arson.
The family that owns the trailer is from the Cowichan Valley and Cpl. Jon Stuart said the they are not acquainted with the suspect.
The authorities were called to the scene of the fire at the west end of the camping area at the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds.
Stuart said no one was hurt.
